I imagine it could work directly on a computer but most likely you would need a female 1/4" TS (mono) to male 1/8" TS (mono) adapter, as I know of no computers with a 1/4" mic input to accept the connector that this mic receiver has. With an adapater it could plug into the 1/8" mic input that many computers have. Mic levels can be adjusted within Windows. Whether that would be enough, I don't know. Using my small mixer, I can boost levels and do so more conveniently.
