## Description

Mirror Cutting Tool Kit – Not Just Any Mirror Cutter The Amazing Glass Cutter Made In Uk A Manual Glass Mirror Cutter That Lets You Cut Straight Radius And Wavy Lines In Mirror Glass Stained Glass And Glass Tiles. The Scoring Wheel Is Not Sharp, It Is Likely The Dullest Tool You Will Own But The Hardest, This Hardness Along With The Special Angle Ground Into The Mirror Scoring Wheel Allows The Amazing Glass Cutter To Cut Thick Mirror And Cut Thin Mirror And Glass Materials And Hard Tile Without Hurting The Wheel. The Secret Is To Follow The Instructions Exactly. Practice On A Spare Piece In Order To Work Out Enough Pressure To Apply, Usually Not Enough Pressure Is Applied To Start With But Sometimes Less Pressure Is Better So Practice Makes Perfect. Cutting On The Floor Instead Of On A Solid Board At Waist Height Will Fail And Give Uneven Pressure Along The Score Line And May Even Crack The Mirror Before You Start. Not Oiling The Scoring Wheel And Making Sure It Is Turning Very Freely May Cause The Wheel To Bind, Drag And Even Lock Up And Just Scratch The Glass Instead Of Evenly Scoring It And This Will Prevent The Mirror Cutter From Working Correctly. Holding The Mirror Cutting Tool By The Plastic Grips When Scoring With Your Strongest Hand Means That You Are Only Applying Minimal Amount Of Pressure If Any On The Cutting Wheel At The Point Where The Scoring Is Happening. Always Pull Towards You Not Push Away. For Stained Glass, Plate Glass, Picture Framing Glass Or Fused Glass The Cutting Wheel Should Be Oiled Every Single Score, Oil Will Run Down Onto The Glass And Will Not Only Cool Down The Glass And Give A Cleaner Cut It Will Also Extend The Life Of The Cutting Wheel. If You Can Wipe The Oil Off The Glass And There Is No Score Line Visible, Then You Need To Increase The Pressure – Make Sure You Are Holding Close To The Wheel And Use The 2 Handed Method If Needed Especially If You Do Not Have A Lot Of Strength In Your Hands Or Are Cutting A Very Hard Material.

Review: Works Great - Highly recommended! - I had the idea of hanging a bunch of mirrors on my office walls as an art installation, so off to thrift stores I went. Amongst already framed mirrors, I also got two very large (24" x 36" & 36" x 40") frameless mirrors, one thin (1/4"). I also picked up a bunch of thrift shop frames ranging from 8" x 10" to 4" x 6". That's when I ordered the glass cutter. I was very nervous about cutting the mirrors since I had never done it before. I reviewed the amusingly-written instructions included with the glass cutter over and over as I worked up my courage. Once I took the plunge, I was pleased to find out that this glass cutter is amazingly effective. I did the thin mirror first since I thought it would be easier. The thick mirror was actually the easier one. I only had 2-3 cuts (Out of several dozen) that didn't quite break as desired (Wavering line or small bulge). This was TOTALLY My Bad - I got careless during the cut. With my handy-dandy glass cutter I was able to salvage the mis-cut pieces. All in all, I ended up with over 40 small mirrors that look really cute in their mix of secondhand frames on my office walls. I did contact the seller with two questions. One was about the lack of that red padding thing in the clamp used to snap the glass. The other was about the lack of the Union Jack emblem pictured. The seller responded within a few hours. Turns out the red thing was in the baggie with the oil (Teach me to shoot off emails without checking all package contents!). The emblem was just for the ad since the "Made in UK" stamp in the metal was not clearly visible in the photo. This was slightly disappointing as I am an Anglophile and had liked the emblem, but I drew my own mutant version on in permanent marker, so all is well. Point is, the seller responded to my unfounded concerns promptly - I really appreciated it. That and the fact that the glass cutter worked so well that I, a novice to glass cutting, was able to use it so effectively first time out of the gate. I'm totally out of office wall space but have found that I like cutting glass - ESPECIALLY the the part when I *snap* it in two (It's oddly satisfying). Sooo... I'm now eyeing the hall - I think it could probably be brightened up with the addition of few custom-cut mirrors. Off to the thrift shops!
Review: Best glass cutter. - This is the absolute best glass cutter I have seen in my 70 years of life. Smooth cut, easy to control and, best of all, the part of the tool that separates the cut piece is a life saver. So happy to have found this tool.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best glass cutter.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty good
*by P***M on February 27, 2025*

You have to get use to it but it does a good job on thin to medium. If you use it on thicker glass doesnt seem to always run along the score. However does a pretty decent job.
