It was inexpensive, and what should you expect from something so cheep? When I first turned it on and let it heat up, a little smoke came out of it. I figured it was probably oil or something from the factory burning off. I lowered the temp to 50% within 20 min of it being on the plastic shaft of the temp control potentiometer melted. Not good.
