Ravensburger Othello - Classic Strategy Board Game for 2 Players - Easy to Learn, Hard to Master - Fast-Paced Family Fun - Ages 8+

This item reminds me of the old Othello board we had.....and thought we lost until it showed up right after we received this one! So, we were able to compare them side by side. This board wins the quality award. Love the storage for the pieces and the pieces are as smooth and fun to play with as we remember. Coolest thing is that I won the first game handily (although I don't think future games will be quite that easy). Nice price for the quality.

The rules of Othello r simple but even as one picks up strategies, the direction of the game can change abruptly! It’s a good-natured family game and I also play it solo to relax. The felted green board and smooth-to-the-touch discs add to the relaxing effect of an unhurried, low-pressure game w unexpected surprises.

I absolutely love this game! Last year I was delighted to find them on sale. So, everyone I love, got one as a family gift. It’s a two person game, but can be played by people of all ages. Easy to learn, and so fun to play. It’s more fun than checkers. Well made, good quality product. The older style game board (50 years go) had retractable covers for each of the disc trays. I wish the newer ones had them too.

This strategy board game is simple to learn but challenging to master. The rules are easy to grasp, but the gameplay is complex and engaging. I love the compact design and high-quality pieces. It's perfect for playing with friends and family or solo. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a game that'll keep them thinking!

It's a great, easy but fun game, but - I had this game as a child in Soviet Union, where quality toys, especially made of plastic, were very lacking. Yet, mine had these rotating covers to securely keep game pieces in their two gutters as storage compartments when the game is stored away. This one doesn't have it, which means you have to set the pieces for each player every time you take it out of the box, where they either fly all over, or you have to store them in a ziplock. For shame.

Othello has been a favorite family game for 4 generations now! This year I’m given it to my teen age Great Grandson! Great quality and 6-7 year olds can play it too! I highly recommend this game.. it is a two person game though!

Othello is a great strategy game. Love playing it with my grandson. In fact, I bought this one for him as we always played on mine and he wanted to have one for playing with his friends
