After checking home depot I realized desertcart had a much better price on the exact same product. So I figured I would order from desertcart and save some money. The product itself is made out of strong plastic. There is a removable grate that has two screws to keep it locked in place. The 4” connectors lock in place after screwing them in. I would recommend using 4” flexible drainage pipe with these connectors as 4” pvc hard plastic pipe did not fit. I would also recommend using duct tape to the connection of the pipe and the catch basin to ensure a long lasting fit. For my home project I leveled out the trench in the backyard and ensured a proper slope. I then put these catch basins in the ground. The line was connected to the drain spout on my house. I ran a hose inside the catch basin to make sure my slope was working and water would be removed. I didn’t notice any leaking or the connections coming lose. The catch basins have been in the ground for a couple months and I haven’t had any problems. Generally these catch basins are used to help clean out leaves and other junk that get stuck in drain pipes and clog them up. I have some catch basins connected to drain spouts and other catch basins in areas where my neighbor’s water would seep into my yard. What is the part number for it? Yes, can probably be used without one, but would like to have it.** A: The water will run out of the ends....depending on what you are using it for we used it to catch run off water and attached the pipe and run it to the gutter drains. Water would stand at the end of our driveway and we needed a french drain to make it move to another location. We also put some concrete in the bottom so water could not sit in. **Q: I cannot find any way to attach a corrugated pipe to this. I tried seceral things. Am i missing a piece?** A: The 900BKIT has two outlets that will connect to 3 or 4 inch corrugated pipe. To connect corrugate pipe, simply insert the pipe into the outlet, once the pipe is inside the outlet backfill and compact. With most it starts with price. And then type of material it’s made with. And then you got drain pipe size, 1 or 2 connections, and do you want green or black.
