I tried some of the stick on film screen protectors but found they started coming off at the edges almost immediately, so gave up on them. I then got a pair of soft TPU cases but these were fiddly to fit (you have to take off the strap and then refit it), and looked dreadful, as well as slightly reducing the responsiveness of the touch screen. However, my first impression of the Spigen case is very positive. First it took only a few seconds to fit it - I didn't even take the watch off to do so. It protects the screen by having a raised lip around the screen, so in almost all cases of catching or brushing the watch against a wall or similar, the raised lip would prevent the screen itself from making contact and possibly getting scratched or cracked. As there's nothing actually between the watch face and your finger, it's just as responsive as usual. And, in my opinion, it actually looks good - I'm almost thinking it improves the look of the watch, although clearly your opinion may be different. It lasted ages and protected the vulnerable curved edges of my screen from scratches and chips. Sitting slightly above the level of the screen it protects that too.
