## Description

PRO-909 Vinyl Prep by ROMAN Products is a clear, water-based acrylic wallpaper primer designed to prepare painted walls for reliable wallcovering installation. Ideal for general-purpose applications, PRO-909 conditions sound latex or acrylic-painted surfaces—including glossy finishes—to promote even adhesive drying and improved bond strength. This fast-drying, low-odor formula dries clear with no splatter, making it well suited for occupied residential and commercial spaces. PRO-909 is recommended for use with pre-pasted wallpaper, non-woven wallpaper, residential wallpaper, and vinyl wallcoverings, and is compatible with all ROMAN® water-based wallpaper adhesives. PRO-909 covers up to 400 square feet per gallon, applies easily with a roller or brush, and cleans up with water for efficient jobsite use. The formula is low VOC and designed to support professional-quality results without unnecessary fumes or disruption. For best results, apply only over sound, sealed drywall that has been primed or painted with a latex or acrylic coating. PRO-909 is not recommended for bare drywall, oil-based paints, vinyl-over-vinyl applications, or surfaces requiring a white hiding primer.

Review: Great for wallpaper,needs better shipping method - I have been a professional wallpaper hanger for over 40 years, and I love this stuff! This is easy to use, lasts a long time in the can, and aids in being able to move the paper into position, it also helps when you remove the paper, it keeps the glue from sticking to the surface of the wallboard, sheet rock, etc. It sticks to this! This is basically clear paint, you can paint over it ,if you wish. I use it in all my jobs, Wallpaper supplies have become hard to find, in small quantities, so I was glad to find it here! One thing, though,desertcart needs to find a better way to ship it, one of my orders didn't arrive do to some mishap, and the other arrived with the lid loose, causing it to spill in the box it was shipped in. I was able to salvage most of it, so I didn't complain.But, desertcart, please look into a better way to ship paint cans! Shrink wrap, tape the lid down, extra bubble wrap?
Review: Makes difficult to hang paper stick - Had a ceiling in my house I have wanted to use the tin ceiling look wall paper on for years and tried some time ago with no luck, just couldn’t get it to stick. Recently had the opportunity to redo this room and found this product. What a difference it makes! I had no problems getting that paper up this time. I used it in conjunction with the Gardner Gibson vinyl over vinyl wall paper paste. Turned out perfect!

I have been a professional wallpaper hanger for over 40 years, and I love this stuff! This is easy to use, lasts a long time in the can, and aids in being able to move the paper into position, it also helps when you remove the paper, it keeps the glue from sticking to the surface of the wallboard, sheet rock, etc. It sticks to this!
