I charged it once and have taken about 10 trips about 15 minutes each and I have not gotten any notification of it needing to be charged yet so that’s a good sign I can not speak to the clarity of the microphone as I have not used it yet. I do notice it touching my lips occasionally which is annoying. I may remove it because I doubt I’ll use it. Overall outstanding alternative for the price. I had a jimmy rigged setup before this but this one exceeded my expectations. So I got these. Controls are easy even with thick gloves. Connected right away, one issue I have is that I have to turn it off and then turn it on to hear anything and my phone says it's connected and full power. So not sure about that. For me the sound is terrible for music it's fine for podcast, talk radio or ebooks but if you want it for music look elsewhere. There is no full range sound or bass hell I don't think there is a mid range. These are nowhere loud enough for me. Maybe because I always have my earbuds in even when I am riding. I have to turn the volume up all the way and it's not loud enough and this is just on the city streets. I didn't even attempt to use these on the highway I used my earbuds instead. So yes the price is great for what you get but not loud enough.
