I am 7 years postpartum but still get hemorrhoids. I purchased these as an easy alternative to measuring loose Epsom salt mixtures, because by the time I looked for relief for this particular issue I was miserable. I used these tablets a few times with an in-toilet sitz bath, for 20-25 minutes in the middle of the day and right before bedtime. I was dealing with a thrombosed external hemorrhoid, and using this combination along with witch hazel pads, I was able to get rid of that bad boy in about a week. I was in so much pain, and when using these tablets I felt soothed and relaxed. I will definitely purchase these again: I like the small, compact tube and multiple doses for easy, mess-free storage. The smell is subtle and pleasant, not a strong lavender or anything too herby. The tablets do kind of stick together in the tube, but crumble apart easily enough. They required a little manipulation to fully dissolve in the warm water, but they’re not the super crumbly consistency of bath bombs so a little expected. I recommend these to anyone needing fast and gentle relief.

I had a 3rd degree tear after having my son as well as hemmrhoids and this helped sooth both. I've noticed my stitches have felt much better this time then when I had my older son.

Though I am not a new mother, being human, I still have needs down in the nether regions that need addressing from time to time. These little tablets help to soothe what's ailing me, or just to use to keep things extra clean and healthy. You will need a sitz bath to use these. Fill it up with hot water, although, don't sit it in until it's cooled just enough to be comfortable on your more delicate skin. Don't wait too long though because the heat is helpful. Drop one tablet in the sitz bath. If you are using this for an entire bath, you'll need at least 4 of them. These are best though reserved for those sitz baths that are meant to sit on your toilet seat. They are soothing and healing. Personally, I really didn't detect much of a scent at all while using, but they are soothing. You'll need to sit there for a good 20 minutes or so. I try to stay until the water turns cool. Just make sure that you have your bathroom reading material handy to get you through your session. It's very clean and you won't end up smelling dainty or funky. Just fresh and clean. Though they market this for postpartum healing, as well as for hemorrhoids, it's good for any sort of healing and cleansing in that region. In fact, I'd venture to say that it's also very good for men to use for any sort of needs in that region, from front to back. It's just a good, clean product that cleans, heals and soothes all sorts of issues that you might experience in your most private areas.
