Glycolix Elite Sunscreen SPF 30, 1.6 Fl Oz

This is my staple sunscreen. I love it so much and it does not break me out. The only issue is that because it is a zinc oxide sunscreen it does leave a greyish cast on my face. However, that can be resolved with a light covering of foundation. I will continue to purchase this sunscreen for as long as they make it.

The thing I hate about Retin-A is that I need to use a sunscreen--but my face becomes too sensitive for any sunscreen! I heard about micronized zinc oxide (it doesn't leave the same kind of residue as other zinc sunscreens do) and found this product. Despite the price, I decided to go for it. I can actually use it even when my skin has been made sensitive! I need Retin-A ever so often, and this lets me feel comfortable to go outside. Due to the price, I only use it on my face (where it's sensitive) and then use a regular sunscreen everywhere else. It should last awhile. (I might be able to use Retin-A more often now!)

Best product for a California girl with fair skin. A few drops of sunscreen mixed with a matte makeup and I'm ready for the outdoors w/o fear of sun damage. The formula has really permanently softened my skin as well as protect it from the damage of 'outside in the sun'. My skin seems permanently softened. After starting to use this daily, skin is like velvet even upon awakening, and my complexion is now clear and unblemished by sun damage. One container lasts about 6 months. I don't think I'll ever go without it again. Other products by Color Science enhance the effects, such as setting mist & sun-blocking powder. The regime is worth it, takes little time, and the results are noticed by everyone. Not only that, but my skin actually feels different from the inside out, it seems more elastic and supple. Hard to describe but a real shift, the skin seems more alive and my face more 'responsive', ie. dimples and smiles take no effort and my face appears more expressive. Perhaps I was merely living beneath extremely dehydrated skin ??

I bought it for the 17% zinc oxide. I need something with extra protection for my face to help with hyperpigmentation. Since I'm not in the sun a lot given the current season, it's hard to comment whether this will help with preventing hyperpigmentation but I would have to image it would help with the high zinc content. I have combination/oily skin. I find this sunscreen blends nicely into my skin without a white cast and does not make my face feel oily. I do use other mineral powder products on top to help keep down any sheen. Since this sunscreen is pleasant to use on my face, I will be more diligent about using it everyday.

The 17 % zinc oxide prevents dark spots off my face and also protects my skin face from damaging sunlight and interior lighting. While the Elite Sunscreen does not give any protection. It is just a moisturizer.

I’ve been using this sunblock on my face for years, I swear by it! I mix it into my makeup to give me more protection! It is great!

This is the only sunscreen that I can use. All the many other I've tried irritate my skin. It goes on white but you just have to take a minute to rub it in and the white disappears. I have very sensitive skin and rosacea and it actually calms my skin down and relieves the irritation. I use it as a moisturizer too.
