La Vieja Fabrica Blueberry Mermelada (Jam) Bottle, 285 g

I was under the impression that marmalade is a type of jam that is made from oranges or lemons. Though this jam is made from blueberries and not what I expected all of us loved it. I had eaten it during a visit to my daughter in the U.S. and liked it, so though on expensive side ordered it immediately. Good product.

This is the jam I was always looking for. what we have eaten in our childhood are not actually jams but fruit juice jellies. They would be full of colour, artificial flavour, no actual fruit used and very difficult to spread. I have also tried a lot of imported blueberry jams but none of them seemed perfect. This La Vieja Fabrica Blueberry Mermelada is everything i wanted in a good jam. The flavour and colour is all natural. Contains real fruit and is perfectly sweet (some amazing jams have no sugar added which makes the taste very unpalatable.) and now the best part.....it spreads beautifully. Along with that the packing is also nice. all in all its a perfect addition to the table for breakfast.. highly recommended.

Seems genuine. Have eaten it couple of times and I am satisfied with the taste. Goes well with pancakes. Somewhat on the sweeter side for me as I am not much of a sweet person. But since it's sweet couple of spoons goes a long way, which, is good considering it's a little costlier than other jams.
