Erbaviva Jasmine & Grapefruit Organic Deodorant – 3.5 Fl Oz, Aluminum-Free, Cruelty-Free

I read reviews before picking this organic deodorant, the first one I have ever used, and I plan to buy it again. It works well. It is not an antiperspirant, but I feel dry anyway about 95% of the time. Hot and humid weather will leave me moist, but as long as I do not smell bad I do not mind! The body sweats for a reason. I shower daily, and the deodorant lasts well enough for that. The scent is more fresh grapefruit than anything else, not really floral but nice. It does sting briefly if sprayed right after shaving, which is to be expected. I bought the spray bottle 5 months ago, and have only used 80% so looking back, I consider the price reasonable rather than on the expensive side. I have never noticed any underarm staining on clothing.

This is my second purchase of the same product as we liked it enough to repeat the purchase. No BO, good essential oil smell instead but not overpowering. Will buy again.

This product - Jasmine Grapefruit Organic Deodorant - does a good job of preventing odor in my armpits throughout my workday. It has a strong smell of grapefruit. The scent does not last all that long. I used this before I left for work; commute to work usually takes 1 hour. When I got to work, none of my colleagues mentioned anything about the grapefruit smell. I sprayed this on my armpits; it stings each time I apply it. The stinging sensation lasts less than 30 seconds. I have not had side effects since using this for the past 4 times I went to work. On one work day, I sprayed this once in each armpit. On another work day, I sprayed twice. On a third work day, I sprayed three times. This worked well for me with 2-3 sprays in controlling odor. There are no permanent stains on my dress shirts. As I sprayed this deodorant, the mist is wide, and not as direct as I would like. So, as I am spraying this in my armpit, there is deodorant that goes on other skin areas nearby the armpit. I resolve this by holding the product directly close to the armpit, so I don't waste it. I find it interesting that the first ingredient in this organic deodorant is alcohol. While this deodorant spray does a good job for me, I prefer to use my usual roll-on deodorant from a well-known brand and will go back to it (much less expensive, and just as effective)

The scent is 5 out of 5 stars- unlike other natural deodorants I've tried that smell like a grandma. Effectiveness: 4 stars- I've used this for a week & had body odor one day, which was the day I skipped a shower. This begs the question: Is this product more effective than just a good shower? So far, I haven't had any skin irritation after the initial application, again, unlike other natural deodorants containing baking soda. Back to the initial application: This stuff has alcohol in it! You are putting alcohol on some of the most sensitive skin on your body! For me, application involves spraying the deodorant on my armpits, then standing in front of a fan with my arms raised to the heavens praying for the stinging pain to stop. Because the stinging lasts for a short amount of time, I'm willing to continue using it as it is the best natural deodorant I've tried so far, and hope the pain lessens. The jury is out on this one, but I will update this review as my body adjusts to the product.

For everyday - this works well. I also use the Beekman stick deodorant - both are safe to use.

Def not the product for me. I tried it because it’s organic and I read a product review that was a glowing ‘can’t live without’. Bottom line, you gotta try it to see for yourself. Spray is hard to control (expected) so waste is high, but the product cost is high too. The smell was too strong and I did not like it even a little bit. Bottom line? Expensive and not worth it.

For the price I thought this was rather disappointing. The ingredients are grain alcohol, essential oils and that’s it. If you’re looking for a natural deodorant, I’d recommend humble, their Palo santo and frankincense is divine and half the price.

I’ve had problems with deodorant my whole life, I break out and I’ve tried them all , last time I had a huge lump that developed and had to be treated. But when I tried the natural deodorant , I was hesitant but used it and it works not only that but no reaction! I’m using it daily now for over a year and I am delighted!
