When blade is open you have a lot more room in your hand to hold it. By the looks of it I don’t think the blade could ever pull out like some quick change blades. Locks up tight when close and deploys one hand with the push of the button and flick of the wrist. When open it blade holder locks up tight. Blade wobbles slightly in holder but does seem to be a big deal. Nice clip tip down carry.
