Review: Great Outdoor Speakers - I read and researched for a good while before purchasing speakers! I have a Bose system in my bedroom and a Sonos system in our living room. They are both great and the sound on both is superb. Clean, clear, crisp sound. I bought 2 sets of the OSD speakers for our patio and I can say I get the same clean, crisp sound as the higher end Bose and Sonos speakers. Paired with a solid amp and they sound awesome. I definitely recommend the speakers and will be purchasing a OSD subwoofer to complement these speakers, but it does sound great without a sub. Installation is simple and straight forward. Brackets are good with many different adjustment angles to position the speakers to achieve the optimum sound for your area. Overall extremely satisfied with these speakers.
Review: It's a shame these don't sound better - Pros: Very solidly built (feels like cast metal cabinet), nice looking, mounting brackets were easy to work with. Cons: Inefficient, weak bass, mids and treble become distorted at higher volumes. Keeping them clean outdoors could be an issue as the cabinet exterior surface is textured like coarse sand paper. They were acceptable for the voice / paging PA application I used them in, but I would not recommend them for any music listening. Way better sound can be had for the same money (though you will likely have to spend more to find good sound in a package as durable as these).

## Features

- POWER: This speaker has 100 watts of power with a built-in sound port for excellent bass. An option is to get the AP525 with a 70V switch transformer with 8 ohms for commercial installations.
- DESIGN: The OSD Audio Weather Resistant Pair Patio Speaker can be daisy-chained for long distance runs. It can be set up for a home patio or commercial locations with 20, 15, 10, 5, and 2.5-watt taps.
- MOUNT: There are flexible mounting brackets that allow for 180-degree rotation and assists to mount the speaker vertically or horizontally. Place under a covered area for the speaker to be optimized.
- OUTDOOR: The speaker has a weather-resistant design of composite resin low resonator cabinet and silicone-sealed internal cabinetry to make them perfect to use outdoors for a powerful sound.
- MODERN: A sleek modern fancy look comes from the powder-coated rust-resistant grille for the speaker to last whether it is used indoors or outdoors. This quality accessory blends into the decor.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great quality, very durable and great price for the quality.
*by J***. on 5 August 2025*

Great clarity at even high volumes. These are good quality speakers that have good performance. The volume output is EXTREMELY sensitive! You don’t need to put the volume up too high to have the sound come out at all. You don’t need a lot of power. My amp is far more than enough. I have some other more pro-grade speakers that I can’t get as loud as these at low volume. Great cost for the quality! These don’t ever sound “tinny”, either. Remember 80Hz is Dolby quality for crossover to lower frequencies if you use a subwoofer.
