Try getting thin led strip of led's and getting them on the side of the engine bay to keep heat off it and they have a sticky strip on the back. **Q: What is the (vertical) thickness of this tape, please (sans the red, peel-off strips)? Thanks!** A: Postcard thick. **Q: will this work to reattach my side view mirror?** A: No. Side view mirrors is normally held with screws. If for some reason that you can't use screws, you can use a strong glue. **Q: Is this safe for car paint? If I remove the emblem that was placed using this tape will it ruin the paint?** A: It will not ruin the paint if you are careful and pull it slightly as you remove it.
