So I wanted the input cables to be connected to a jack rather than just extending the cables into the cabin. I installed this on place off the cigarette lighter in the dash ... it fit perfectly and looks fabulous -- every bit as "factory" as the original lighter looked. Only better, since we used it for a charging port anyway. The quality seems to be excellent - better than I've seen. Nice thick cables a great length for the connection to the radio. Being a dual port design I was able to connect both rear USB connections and get them accessible. I didn't use the cover (the area was a little too small to get that part in) but of you have room the cover is a neat design - again, looks very OEM.
