    Perfect replacement for awful flexible extensions

These things saved me a world of trouble. I had flexible extensions on my inner duallys (25' Winnebago on an E450 chassis) and they leaked and were impossible to air up. Now, it's a cinch. I unscrewed the old ones and these went straight on (hand tightened with a 3/8" deep socket). I had to bend a little of the lip of the hole in the wheel covers since these stick out of the access hole about an inch, but I may have avoided that by taking the cap off the extensions before banging the wheel covers back on. The 4" extensions would also have avoided that but they would be slightly less accessible. Very happy with this purchase!

6" extensions seem to be harder to find these days.Locally no one had them not even the large truck stops.  One of the extensions that came with my coach started leaking, lost 110psi in just a few hours which would have been disastrous if not caught.  Put the new VTR 6" extensions on and so far no leaks so I'm a happy camper.  The extensions seem to be well made.  Only minor negative, wish they would have come with new caps to match the stems.

I use these just for when I check the tire pressure then take them back off again.  I wouldn't leave something this heavy and cantilevered out this far on when I drove.  It works great for extending the internal dual for checking the pressure and topping off.
