This is the replacement filter for that water filter assembly. Manitowoc distributor suggested this filter because of excellent filtering and minimal problems. Screws on and off for quick and easy change out (remember to shut off inlet flow and bleed off outlet pressure). Replaced after 1 year of very low usage of the ice machine while the house was being built. Will replace more frequently if pressure gauge on outlet side shows drop in water pressure implying filter is becoming restricted.
