Will this help my furniture from high humidity? so i wont get mold on my furniture?

Unfortunately, there is nothing on the can by the Mfg as to High Humidity for this particular product. I believe this is for general every day fabric such as upholstery, throws, table linens, fabric purses, clothing, canvas shoes, backpacks and luggage. Scotchgard does have two other products that are suited for outdoor use. However, I found no evidence regarding if they protect from High Humidity. One is Outdoor Sun & Water Shield (Yellow Bottle/Repels Rain & Snow) and is for patio furniture, grill covers, tarps, flags, awnings, etc. The other is Scotchgard Outdoor Water Shield (green bottle/Repels Rain, Snow and Moisture) and is made for outerwear, rain gear, unbrellas, patio furniture, backpacks, luggage, canvas tarps, boat cover, etc. I would highly recommend calling 3M Home Care Division to see if any of the last two protects from high humidity. Their # is 1-800-367-7683.

Great investment

The Scotch guard works wonders. I will definitely buy some more of this product because I’ve been having my couches for over two years now and they’re like a cream color and I haven’t had a stain on them yet.

Saves your fabric

Anytime I buy a new piece of fabric furniture, which isn't too often, I buy one of these cans. They've always worked well and saved the new fabric from staining. The downside is it smells awful but that eventually dissipates. Just wish it wasn't so expensive. Recommended.

The product shown (fabric protector) is not the product sold (water proof )

The product depicted on the Amazon image is a fabric protector. The product delivered has a different label and is essentially a water proof formula. It appears that Scotchguard no longer manufactures the original product. I was especially dismayed by the advertising error, but more peeved by the ‘no return or refund’ policy from the vendor. Given the clear difference between the image posted on the Amazon site and the actual product, this is clearly consumer fraud.
