WEN BG4280 5-Amp 8-Inch Variable Speed Bench Grinder with Flexible Work Light

I've only had it for 3 months, but it's already been worth the purchase. It's quiet & smooth- not near as much vibration as the one it replaced. The speed adjustment is handy & it's a great addition to my garage tools.

I like the grinder. It’s powerful and fits my needs. It came with a slight vibration but nothing that was a concern. Recently, that vibration became so bad that I couldn’t use it. I tried switching wheels but that didn’t help so I contacted the company and they are replacing it with a new unit, no questions asked. A great example of outstanding customer service!

Feels solid and well built and stable. Smooth power with nice adjustable speed, although I wish it had a bigger range especially on the slow end. The included grinding wheels aren’t great. The coarser wheel is difficult to use and doesn’t seem good quality. The finer wheel is better, but still not great. They become irregular and rough and need to be dressed often. I think upgrading to higher quality stones would be helpful and most people would want to do this sooner rather than later. So that’s an extra cost. The built in light is functional. The safety guards are ok. Supports are adequate for most small jobs. Longer blades are tough to work on because the machine itself gets in the way. You can really only grind a blade that is about 5 inches long. Probably better suited for hatchets and chisels and cleaning up tools and maybe sharpening drill bits
