Just long-press the Play/Pause button, and when the blue light is blinking, connect to the device on your phone/computer/tablet. It comes up as "SmartRemote."It goes to sleep after a short period of inactivity, and wakes up from sleep very quickly. Press any button to wake it up, then immediately press the next control.List of buttons/controls:+ Volume Up/Volume Down: The volume control buttons work beautifully. Gloves don't work on the phone, and that song is nearly hurting you. NEXT! PAUSE! VOLUME DOWN, ANYTHING you scream into your helmet to no use your phone can't hear you.But this doesn't have to be. This neat little circle remote uses a coin cell battery, easily pairs with your phone giving you tactile buttons your gloves can use to change tracks, adjust volume, pause, etc it isn't fancy nor does it need to be. It does exactly what you need it for.It does go into sleep mode after about 30 seconds, but press any button and it live again when want it. Quick press to wake up, press your desired button. Done. And you didn't have to pull over to do anything with your phone.The rubber vinyl clip on strap did struggle a bit on my Kawasaki 650's handle bar, but it snapped into place. I slid it up and wedged under the brake master cylinder where it is rock solid. The unit clips into the holder securely.It doesn't call attention to itself. It is subtle and blends in with the controls enough to look stock.At less than $20, it is definitely a quality of life and ride improvement I wish I had done years ago.Just do it.
