I installed it on the door between the garage and the house. There was a 1inch gap. On the garage side of the door, there is an elevated wood piece that is meant to keep the cold out/heat inside but it was not enough. I tried the 2-side piece that slides at the bottom of the door but it didn’t work because of the wood piece on the garage-side of the door. I returned it and ordered a one side only part. It comes with Velcro so that it can be removed in Summer. Very convenient, easy to install, you cut it to the correct length and it works as long as it’s installed correctly. I highly recommend it for those doors that can only have a one side draft cover. Made of foam in the inside (3 small, foam tubes). Removable for quick detachment in warmer months. No idea why anyone would rate this product a 1, maybe they're not doing it right? We live in a house where our front door neighbor smokes and the smell was coming in through the door and floor gap. Easy to install great product 👍🏽

This is the best door draft stopper I ever use. Is very easy to install. It was done in five minutes and no more draft. I would buy it again. highly recommend this
