Great Painting Surface

Nice panel but end was dented.
I have used these panels before and like them for acrylic painting, but I was disappointed thatone end was dented and some of the white ground on which you could paint was coming off on one side. I still the panel but had to double-gesso the part with the missing surface paint. I think the panel should have been rejected as defective before they sent it to me.

If you want a beautiful surface to create on look no further
I've used Ampersand for years. Their product has a fabulous smooth surface that is very nice to paint on especially if you like detail. The ready to use surface allows oil paint (what I use) to be laid down and move very nicely. The cradled. boards are finished with very high quality and you can leave the wood u untouched or paint it to suit your needs. The convenience of finding them on Amazon is good too when I am not ordering a bunch of art supplies from another source.

Great for Paint Pens
Really like these Gessobords. Great quality and easy strokes with my acrylic paint pens. Have only used the 1/8” boards. A big improvement over the stretched canvas ones.

Damaged corners… every time! No liner will use
Corners are always smushed on these. They need to use corner protectors. As this is my third try, I will not be ordering these again. I have to wonder if these are the brand names, as they are very low quality.

Warped and chipped on the sides.
This is a good panel and high quality. but it seems that the biggest problem comes with shipping it. the are solid but very fragile on the corners. whenever i order them i am bound to get a chipped one. not only from amazon. they should label this as fragile or just protect the corners. also the bigger the size the more it is prone to warping. so storing them vertically/ diagonally will result in some warping.

Great price good product looking forward to using it
Was not what I wanted bur that is my mistake for miss reading it. I wanted claybord but haven't used it yet and is still very good product for airbrushing project.

Slippery panels
It works for the class I needed it for. I don't know that I would use these often as they are slippery when trying subtraction tools on it.
