I think I paid close to $8 for it, without any shipping charge. It comes from the UK. It is an admirable product--very hard bristles, long, thick and white. I genuinely love it because soft bristles never seem to clean my teeth. The only drawback to hard bristles is that they can cause the gums to recede, but use a good sensitive toothpaste to help with that. However, I bought it for coffee stains for me and tobacco for someone else. We both thought they were too hard and now we like them, they do their job .Bottom line is after I used it a few times I figured out how to brush properly without hurting myself and by the third brushing my bottom teeth were white again. I do not brush like a regular brush, I brush a section at a time, across and circular on a few teeth rather than doing all teeth sideways and up and down.Every time my teeth look slightly stained I use it a few times In one day and they go back to white. I was tortured by braces as a teenager and got straight teeth out of it but now in my 40s the bottom teeth are slightly crooked, or not exactly even, causing tight spaces that collect Colombian coffee like it's worth billions. Sigh. No regular brush will make it better. I use dental tools and it takes a lot of work. Those days seem to be over as I have had this for 3 months and have not had a problem as long as I use it as soon as it begins discoloration.I use my other toothbrushes most days or on my whole mouth and then go back with this brush.
