This is now under the hood in the fuse box, and the remote control works fine from the driver seat. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by E***D on 5 January 2021* Update: 11 February 2020 We have had some nasty cold weather here (-39C 60 km/hr winds = -60C wind chill) and the relay and remotes have been working flawlessly. Quite impressed with these relays and remotes. They seem to work quite well, have a decent range and can be configured for a wide variety of load voltages and have several modes of operation. If you want to use this relay in latching mode, you have to buy 2 relays to get the two button remotes (A - ON, B - OFF). The single button remotes only support momentary and toggle modes. The relay is rated at 7A max for up to 28VDC load or 12A max at 125VAC load. The relay does remember its programmed mode if it is disconnected from its 12VDC power source. The ones I ordered came with wiring and programming instructions that were easy to follow and understand. The remotes also came with 2 CR2016 batteries pre-installed in each. The relay output is isolated from the 12VDC required to operate the relay, so you can control just about anything up to 250VAC, as long as you do not exceed the relay current ratings. If working with non-resistive AC loads (such as incandescent bulbs, motors, heaters, etc.) you should probably de-rate by 10x to ensure you don't fry the relay with input surge currents when first turned on (i.e. keep your rated load below 150W at 125VAC).
