Better and shinier than what I was expecting.

Easy to install, just use the hardware that comes with your nest. I think the black is the best one to get because it goes with any color the nest might come in. I have the black and stainless steel Nest and the black plate goes great with it, looks classy and I don't have to worry about color matching the steel like some previous reviews. Great price and Spigen is a great brand that I trust. I have the 3rd generation Learning Nest, and it fits perfectly! Highly recommend this product if you are looking to class up your thermostat and cover any unsightly holes from previous thermostat installs.

If Avoiding wall smudges is important to you, this is it! Protects the wall from marks, matches my wall paint, was easy to install, fully compatible with my Nest 3rd Gen Thermostats. Great value, and functions as advertised!

This item didn't make the greatest first impression as it felt plasticky out of the box and didn't have the same premium finish to match the Nest Learning Thermostat I was mounting to it. After mounting it however, I realized that it actually looks much more convincing at a distance than I'd initially thought. It may feel cheap when touched but there's really no logic to touching or interacting with the mounting place to begin with, you're only ever going to be physically interacting with the actual Nest device anyway. It's held up over time and is easy to clean so I think this item ultimately justifies the purchase price.

This was a great addition to our smart thermostat install. With it we were able to hide the previous cutout from the old thermostat. Really modern looking and installation was super simple.

Nice looking backplate. Easy to install. Allows to cover a large area (in case you have a big hole). I will probablysuggest to have 2 more holes for more options for wiring.
