Retinol Serum

This is the first serum I've ever used so I can't compare it to anything. I've been using it for about 8 days now and so far I'm very happy with this product. At first I was putting a bit too much on but I got it together after 2 days. I use this product in the morning after I wash my face and before I moisturize then put my makeup on. I put under my eyes to keep them looking bright and help control any lines, I just turned 41.I also use it at night after I wash my face and before I apply my night creme. I had for the first time started using an under eye gel moisturizer with hyaluronic acid from Neutrogena it's nice but it cost more than I think it's worth when this tube is gone I'll cut that out of my regimen and replace it with the serum and of coarse my moisturizer. I feel my skin has been looking brighter and there's no puffiness under my eyes. I really like the way it feels too plus the price is great. I also use their vitamin c serum and live it. I'm very happy with this hyaluronic acid. I do highly recommend this serum I'll be continuing to purchase this item and will probably subscribe when I figure out how long a bottle lasts me.UPDATE: I still love this product and purchased a second bottle I noticed that they changed the color if the bottle to clear. It had been dark which was great for keeping light from messing with the ingredients. I'm hoping it'll work the same.

I added a before pic from about a week ago. Granted, my skin was very angry and inflamed at the time of this picture, but it def shows all the spots I have/had. I have spent SO much money in skincare on expensive brands like Murad, proactive, DRMTLGY, etc… adding retinol to my routine helped somewhat in the beginning. But after a couple months it stopped working. And actually, I bought this serum thinking it had retinol in it smh.. still, the difference after just one application and a good nights rest made a miraculous difference! The second night I added Neutrogena pro retinol .5% before bae body tea tree, and this morning…. Wow 😯… just wow 🤩 . I have never seen anything like it. Every spot on my face has shrunk dramatically or dried up. The congestion in my pores was overwhelming before this. You could pick a place, any place on my face and squeeze and out crawls this worm of puss. Like a blackhead without the black. Just huge pores covering my face, all congested. After only 2 nights and 2 days (that’s right, 2!!!) it has…. (Shall I say?!) all but disappeared! Lots of scarring and discoloration left behind, but I’ll take it! The serum is like a milky yellow, and from first application it’s obvious this stuff really packs a punch, hence the menthol tingle lasts for a bit after applying, the smell is very strong, and it can burn dry patches or areas of compromised skin barrier. So sensitive skin or sensitive to smells- this serum may not be for you. Probably easy to over do it with this one. Otherwise, this is definitely a no nonsense serum and these ingredients mean business! It really DOES work. Will update if any negative effects arise.

A good product for a reasonable price. Not too sticky & doesn’t irritate.

I originally bought this because I have crow's feet around my eyes. I had read other reviews about this product and originally learned about this product in Sephora, but it had such a high price tag that I chose not to buy it. When I saw it on Amazon for a fraction of the cost than most beauty stores I thought to myself that it was worth trying. I have tried so many beauty products to reduce the signs of crows feet with very little results. The reason I chose this particular brands is because I also own the Brae Bond angel kit for my hair that I used during the process of bleaching my hair for highlights. I have very thin hair and if I try to do highlights without some type of treatment it will completely damage my hair making it feel like horse hair, however the Brae Bond Angel kit protected my hair from the entire bleaching process leaving my hair smooth, silky and in better condition than it was prior to the highlights. I had such a good experience with the hair product that I felt safe buying there hyaluronic acid. What I didn't expect was for it to make me look so much younger and needing my skin feeling smooth. I plan on buying there vitamin C product as well. I have been very pleased with my purchases so far from this line.

I've been been using retinol serums as much as I can. I had a job in the outdoor sunny beaches in my 20's. Now I'm in the wonderful 50's and hoped this was a good product but it's not as thick and thorough as store bought products. The price is good but I'm gonna splurge another $10 for the Oil of Olay or Estee Lauder at CVS/Walgreens from now on. The clearer and thicker the oil, I feel it does a better job.

So far so good this product seems to do what it says in a few days I see some difference and given time I will update. The bottle and item and easy to apply applicator I love. Its simple. I have used Retinol products before, This seems pretty good and milder than other products and also have used glycolic home peels that are mid strength, but I use products like this as well, in between to keep the area of my skin, mostly my face smooth and free of beginning lines also if you ever had a tiny whitehead, on the softest tender area under your skin, its very dismaying. You cant rub it, or squeeze, it is so tiny and without going to a dermatologist, I used the lotion called Face Lotion Lite Plus 10 and it not only took it off in a week to 8 days, using a soft buffing sponge with a mild lotion called Regenerist by Olay, (if its ok to mention) , I also use products like this Retinol, and wanted to try this one, in between. Tiny little things begin to change by 30, so I swear by these items,and use them as proscribed. If they have glycolic acid they're more effective also. Everyone's skin is not the same, mine is pale and not thick its thin, and have to careful but mostly under the eye area, if there is a problem you cant rub, because once that skin is stretched that is it. I never use water or soap only make up removers, and lotions or that I wipe off, use a gentle clarifying lotion of some sort that don't cause tiny bumps or are too greasy. So this kind of product can really help as well if you use it, that means don't buy and don use it, or try it for short term, use, it. I have used many and they work, I love the ones with more power in between. It doesn't take much time to put on either. Its not some hassle, and the other lotions I use sparingly and they still work. As for this one, I'm using it up and will update.

Update 24 Aug 2017: Still loving the product, and came here to reorder. Then I saw... so many fake 5-star reviews with fake helpful votes here! Makes me suspicious about the product now, so I didn't reorder. :/ Original review on mid-May 2017: I was skeptical about this product since my skin is very sensitive and prone to allergy reactions with most skincare products. It's made me loathe using skincare because so many products just painfully sting my skin. I'm also ezcema-prone. Much to my surprise, this serum did not sting at all! Quite the opposite, I feel like it soothed and calmed my skin - leaving a wonderful fresh feeling on my face. When I apply it, I can feel my skin soaking it up and being moisturized by it. Not greasy at all, just fresh and soft dewy skin! The effect is lasting too - after a week, my skin is looking better than before I started using this serum. So thanks to this product, I actually starting looking forward to my skincare routine! Also, I really love the light rosewater scent. I usually hate fragrances, but the rosewater scent is really light and lovely.

Absolutely love this! Have already ordered more. I somehow received some insect bites on the left side of my face one evening. Never did find out what they were. However; they itched terribly. I tried everything to keep from scratching, especially since it was my face. I much have rubbed or "horrors" scratched my face during the night, because I woke up with the left side of my face completely swollen and looking as if someone had beaten me up. I started using OTC medicine on my face and that, of course, dried my skin out. After a few days I wouldn't even leave the house. I was desperate. I had been using this around my eyes & mouth to help with the wrinkles and thought it couldn't hurt on my dry skin. I started using it on the ugly places on my face and my face immediately felt better. The next morning it looked amazingly better. I used it morning and night for over two weeks. I know that sounds like a long time, but I'm in my 70's and older skin takes a long time to heal. My face is almost completely healed and I owe it to the Hyaluronic Acid. It's amazing. I will never be without it.
