The HDD was 149 GBP it is a fast drive and allows me to save games on its giant 8TB capacity. I cannot play XS games or "quick resume" from HDD but you can copy XS games to the internal NVME. You can play 360 and some X1 games. The drive has a cool green glow and comes in XFAT format but if you want the most out of it then format it to NTFS as the files system is much better than XFAT and Xbox XS has no issues recognising it. The drive is good value for money and it allows you to store movies and music. I use the "Game Pass" and download my game as default to the HDD until I want to play them, as stated 360 games word of HDD and some X1 work of HDD. All you do it plug it in to a socket, attach that to the HDD, connect the usb to the Xbox and it's good. Your Xbox will ask if you want to format it, obviously you do and it doesn't matter if you select if it's for the 1 console or if you're gonna use it for multiple ones.
