CPC Practice Exam 2017: Includes 150 practice questions, answers with full rationale, exam study guide and the official proctor-to-examinee instructions

I haven't find my degree as yet, but I know this product will help me prepare for the CPC Exam. The CPC test is a hard test consisting of 150 questions and is five hours long. It's extremely important to use every type of study help you can to pass with a high score because hospitals require this certification in order to be a medical biller and coder. When you copy the answering sheets, you can retake the questions over and over until you reach a score you are satisfied with. This is the reason I ordered this product.

This book was very helpful. There are general test-taking strategies, advice on how to prep your coding books and a list of medical terms that are useful to know. Some of the questions are quite difficult, and require a lot of thought and flipping. The answers, though, are well-written and easy to grasp. They do a good job explaining the logic of behind how the correct answers are arrived at, and why the incorrect answers are wrong, sometimes to the point of over over explanation, but it did make me think through. I would recommend.

This book will definitely tell you all the tips for passing the AAPC exam. Unfortunately, passing the AAPC exam will not help you with real life coding or being hired as a medical coder.

Worth the money... I was definitely more prepared than the first time I took the test considering I ordered it 1 month prior to taking the test... I also used he practice test in conjunction with the study guide to cover my bases...

Background: I took medical terminolgy class and anatomy, medical and billing courses. This book helped me prepare for my cpc exam I just took yesterday. Answer key contained explanation and reasoning that helped me understand the material. I went through the whole book and reviewed my errors. Timed myself again to take it a second time. I will update my status after I get my exam results.

This is an excellent way if you want to pass the CPC. The authors explanation of the procedures made it easier for me to pass the CPC on the first time. I am also using it as a supplement to study for the COC exam, hopefully I will be fortunate enough to pass this on the first time too.

I will say that this book is a lot easier than the actual aapc exam. BUT it's a great warm up and refresher to do in between the actual aapc practice exams if you're like me and have the answers memorized after doing them over and over. I did this for a while until I forgot the other test questions and just kept switching back and forth and this is what helped me pass. Good luck to my future fellow medical coders :)

This book helped me pass the CPC the first time. The rationale was very helpful when studying! I’d recommend this book to anyone that is looking to take the CPC.
