I went back to thee dynomax from Hooker aero chambers due to noise. The dynomax is much quieter and no drone inside the car. I have run a lot of different mufflers over the years on 2.5 inch exhaust and on my 3" these were very quiet. Nice to cruise with. I have a 383 small block in a nova with an xpipe . The 3" exhaust runs from the headers back over the rear axle and dumps behind the rear tires like the early camaros did. Motor make 470 HP and 460 tq so it moves some air. I think these mufflers will be much quiter than the vibrants. If you want to really quiet it down and can afford a SLIGHT loss of HP install the 2 .5" mufflers with the reducers on each side of the muffler. **Q: does this fit a 2003 chevy silveraldo** A: This item is designed as a universal muffler.
