Review: Good sound quality. - Everything about this little equalizer is good. Circuit board design, sound quality, size. There is one issue however and that is the instruction manual; in specific the manual does not refer to this model. There is a similar model with 7 bands listed. The real problem comes with the 3 pin power connector. The code for the connector on the unit is correct, but it could be a problem as the manual lists several other configurations for the 3 pin and none listed correspond to the unit itself. I have modified mine for home use and it sounds excellent.

**Q: This says it's a "graphic" equalizer, I am struggling to see how, does it have a graphic display somewhere I don't see or a video out port?**
A: Its "graphic" cause you can see the level the knob is at by looking at the knob. As opposed to digital. There isnt an actual graph display anywhere

**Q: how many amps does this draw?**
A: As I told another potential buyer, I'm actually using it in a home system, which means I don't draw voltage from a car alternator/battery. My switching wall wart is 12V at 1.8A, but the unit itself probably draws little more than half an amp.

**Q: So, seller, just curious...it claims to both equalize and amplify...how many watts of amplification? i'm guessing around 25...**
A: I myself don't use it as an amp, and never intended to. Simply as a graphic EQ/volume control/source switch in a mini-stereo home system with a flat power amp. Think of it as an EQ in your home system: you'd either also use it with a discrete power amp or as a "send/receive" component in an integrated system. Either way you wouldn't drive a speaker with its (unbalanced RCA) outputs. I will say this: I really like it! It does the job (with a 12V 1.8A wall wart instead of car power) and it sounds clean and terrific.

Update , sadly like all of the eq units it packed up after nearly 2 years, all these units regardless of name and price have the same internal electronics, now purchased 3 different brands over the past 5 years all just simply develop problems Used on my boat to replace a failed Rockville EQ Unit that was twice the price. Its impossible to find a purpose made EQ for a boat so these work fine but the harsh environment on a boat especially in Florida trashes even so called marine electronics. So just change it every year
