I have been very impressed with it so far - absorbs water quickly, expands to around half of a 4 gallon bucket, great sterile medium, quite fine and uniform, and super convenient to store. As far as how well seeds grow, I'm just getting into the season, so can't give definitive answers, but my first couple batches of seeds are up and doing well. I didn't sterilize my pots, so have had some issues with mold growth on the surface if I don't top water. My yellow onion starts have struggled some with damping off - but they always do for me, so I wouldn't blame this medium - but at the same time, it didn't solve it, either.
