Awful Shipping. Nice Bar Though.
Let's get the bad right out of the way: this was one of the worst-shipped items I've ever received. The cardboard tube that housed the bar was absolutely obliterated. It actually looks like someone at the post office took pity on me when they saw the state of the tube and they stuck it in a (comically over-sized) cardboard box. I could be wrong about that, but I'm going to go with it since my shipping information was on the tube as well as the outside box. Even still the tape job on the outside box was pretty bad, and somewhere along the way one of the star locks and the rubber washer/gasket went missing. Fortunately for me I've got enough equipment laying around that I can just borrow a star lock from something else, but it's a bummer nonetheless. I paid for a bar and two star locks, I would have liked to receive a bar and two star locks. That's out of the way, so on to the good: This bar is of a much higher quality than I was expecting for the price. Despite the traumatic shipping experience it endured, it doesn't even have a scratch on it. The product description suggests a max weight of 250 pounds, so naturally the first thing I did was throw 250 on it and do a few reps. Everything seemed fine and I couldn't detect any noticeable bending, so I'm guessing there's a generous tolerance built into that suggested weight. I was expecting some immediate flaking of the chrome, but that didn't happen. Time will tell if it's actually a durable product, but good start.I feel like I'd be justified in taking a star or two for the horrific shipping and missing piece, but I'm impressed enough with the bar that I'm having trouble being too mad about it. That being said, if there's a customer support rep reading this, I'll definitely take a new star lock if you're offering.tl;dr: Nice bar for the price, but you might be playing the lottery with the shipping.

Bar is good, shipping is absolutely piss poor
The package arrived and looked like it had been dragged behind the delivery truck for 10 miles.Whoever packed it simply threw it in a thin cardboard tube that would barely be strong enough to contain a rolled up poster, let alone a heavy metal barbell. There was no cushioning, no padding to keep it from clattering around inside the tube and thereby splitting it.So yeah, the bar arrived and it is slightly bent. That said, the bar itself seems like it is decent quality and will hold up for many years of use. I opted for this bar because I already have close to 200lbs of weight plates that have the 1" hole in them and didn't want to invest in those gym-style Olympic bars and weight plates. The inside portion of the bar is 48", plenty long to fit on a rack meant for the Olympic bar. My original bar was a 5 foot with only about 30" inside, so too narrow for many exercises.I gave only 3 stars because the packaging was horrible and the bar is slightly bent. It isn't damaged enough to be unusable, but it is irritating that a new product came to me already damaged.

Very happy with this bar
Great bar. I absolutely love the threaded collars. They have a rubber insert and have stayed tight for me so far. It's comfortable and fits good on my olympic bench, even as a 6ft bar. The max is listed as 250lbs, but I don't think I will being going higher than that anytime soon. I have 150lbs on it, and it has a very slight bend.

Bar bent with far less than 250lbs and metal shavings cause splinters
I use at most 60lb's per side of the bar so 120lbs total and this bar's ends have bent like crazy, I am no afraid the bar is going to snap in half during a lift. I attached a picture and drew a red straight line through the middle part of the bar (not bent) through the ends (bent). If that was not bad enough (and it is), there is no filing done on the bar grips so I have had multiple metal shaving splinters after lifting. Avoid.

I've tried both plastic clamps and spring-type clamps on it but feel that the spin locks work best for this bar
This bar is 1" in diameter and weighs 15 lbs. It is threaded and I use spin locks on it in order to hold the plates on. I've tried both plastic clamps and spring-type clamps on it but feel that the spin locks work best for this bar. Standard 1" plates fit on it.I use this bar for deadlifting, glute bridges, and hip thrusts. I've pulled up to 200 lbs with no problem. It is rated for 250 but I haven't gotten that far (yet!) Overall, it is a good bar and I would recommend it.

6ft long bar. longer than expected
Currently working out to build muscle. Thought a barbell would be great for extensive exercise. The bar got some weight and I would suggest only to at 20+lb weight to it. The gripping area is quite handy. So far I've used it for chest and push up. This is really sweet deal for $23+. The bar is solid and stainless.

Right for the purpose.
Received it from PlumStruck through Amazon, I did examine the product where the wielded part is, due to one of the reviewers posted the weight stopper gave in. I think the customer whose stopper gave in was a different type or brand of bar. This one has its corrugated grip runs from the stopper to almost middle where your grip stops when doing the tricep extensions or narrow presses, he had a smooth part where the stopper was. The awkward thing about this is that it has a shorter sleeves just about 12" for both sides and so you have a good 48" bar for grips, total of 72" (6ft). This dimensions are okay if you have the Olympic sized bar and weights but for standard it looks weird. I had another standard 6ft bar but it has more room for weights and narrower middle bar, these two are different. I bought this one for light deadlift and squatting. This will be great for my purpose so I gave it a five star. Made in China and quality is fine. I suggested to go Olympic size if you want a better equipment or doing a heavier lifting. If you think you are going around 200lbs with these well think twice.

perfect for my needs
I don't use the threaded caps preferring spring clips instead and those work just fine. The bar is as advertised and fits my needs just fine. Don't know about bar flex w/heavier weight as 150-175lbs is all I'll ever be doing and I've noted no flex. There might be slightly larger diameter, non-olympic bars out there but this one works great for me.
