Straight Forward Magickal Lessons
I heard a lot about this book but it was always out of print. Finally, I got my hands on it, and I am glad that I did because it confirmed and verified a lot of things that I already was aware of, and gave me some insight on subjects I had once upon a time pondered. This is a great book for all occultists, especially those who are new to the path because it is straightforward magickal talk.

Excellent book.
Only time I've reviewed anything on here... This is hands down the best book on magick and metaphysics I've read. Covers so many areas and the way Philip Cooper explains things are easy to read. Explains exactly how your mind works and how to tap into your REAL power. A very essential book for those studying the subject. Love this book. I see why they stopped printing it and pushed the price so high. Keep checking amazon and EXPECT a lower price. It's what I did I got mine for $100. That's not a typo lol.

Best book on Golden Dawn style magick out there!
This book is a must have! After searching for a system to immerse my self into and spending a lot of money on books that were misleading or filled with dogma, I finally found this gem. This book will explain in a simple language how to do ritual magick. Please do yourself a favor and save yourself the struggles and purchase The Magickian!

Cooper at his Best
To see my other thoughts on the author see my review of "Basic Magick." This is Cooper's most complete and in-depth work. Unfortunately it is currently out of print, but there are still copies floating around out there for the buying. In many respects this is a presentation of much of what can be found in "Basic Magick," but the material is handled in more depth. Of special note is the section on astrology. Cooper presents, as far as I can tell, a unique approach to applying astrological influences to one's magickal work. It takes some study to get the method, but it is very interesting once one does understand it. I'd recommend this book to anyone interested in Cooper or modern non-Golden Dawn magick. If you had to buy one book by Cooper, and you could find it, I'd say buy this one. I believe the author is planning to have the work re-issued in an updated format sometime in the near future.

The Magickian
I just recently received this book, I haven't started to read it yet, however I am very excited to get started I've heard form others that it's very informative. I'll have to come back with a review. So stay tuned.
