I bought these to use as a general tie down strap in my pickup (lumber, pipe, whatever). They broke on their first use. Not a great look, but worse they're not something you can trust at all if you use them as intended to keep stuff in your truck.I was hesitant to buy because the straps are rated less than others, but I figured 500lbs was more than enough for general use. I had no idea I should have expected the handle to break. Not only is this dangerous during use, it nearly sliced my hand open when it broke in half. Avoid.
