I bought this because my ophthalmologist recommended that I use a warm compress on my eyes regularly. I like a really hot towel wrapped around my face when I get a facial, but I’m NOT going to mess with a wet towel at bedtime. This is an easy-to-use alternative. I heat a large tea cup of water, grab my tea bag and my gel pad and crawl into bed. First, I drop the gel pad into the water to heat it up. ( comes with an s-hook so you can fish it out without getting wet) Insert the hot gel pad into the mask, and drop the tea bag into the cup. The eye pad is just the right temperature and provides a nice, warm compress for about five minutes while my tea brews! Very glad I bought this!

This eye mask is easy to use and very well made. Sometimes it is a little too hot at first, but I just wait a minute and it is fine. I usually put the mask on in the early evening and I lie down and rest for a few minutes which is very relaxing. My dry eye does feel a little better, but I mostly notice my minor blepharitis has greatly improved. I am also using Ocusoft cleanser in conjunction with the mask. I do not use the mask for sleeping.

I suffer from dry eyes, but did not want to buy a microwave JUST to heat eye masks. So, I am thankful that this product is available---because I could just soak them in hot water! I have purchased at least 4 packages in the past 3 years for myself and my mom. That's great that this product comes the insulated holder to hold in gel pack in place, and there are two gel packs in a package. The blue gel substance does eventually start to leak into the hot water, so, having two is very helpful! One suggestion to the manufacturer : Could you please consider using silicone so that your customers are not exposed to BPA and BPT. As a loyal customer, I am certainly willing to pay a little more for silicone, so to not being exposed to more toxins than we already do! Thank you!

Pros- Nice fitl and the design and materials are great, ditto price point. You will not burn the gentle skin around your eyes-never gets too hot like other eye masked that you can accidentally over microwave. Cons- It looses its heat much faster than expected. The discripton does not mention that you may also use this for cold as well as hot, so I will try it and update although its Inconvenient to do so. I expect eye mask to last a min of 15 min -it’s cool in 8-10 min. I will even try to heat the 2 gel eye masks provided in kit at same time to see if heat lasts longer. I really want to make use of this product that would be the best one on the market if only it held heat longer.

The gel can not be heated by microwave. Rather, it needs to be put in boiled water for 5 minutes, not 2 minutes described at Amazon website. Yes, I did not read description carefully enough. But it is not convenient to use. I wanted to return it and then found out it, as Amazon Prime product, cannot be returned. I would be very careful of this seller.

If you have any eye conditions, I can not recommend this enough. This makes my blepharitis feel so much better. You do have to warm them up for a good 10 minutes in boiling water before they're usable, but the packs themselves seem very sturdy. The mask is a less so, but definitely worth having!

The first claim in the description is you won't have to deal with drippy towels. That's funny because the only way to get it warm enough for therapy in the instructions for use is to place the separate gel filled insert into boiling water! So the soggy face towel is now a container of water and a stove and handling a hot gel pack placed into a thin fabric holder. Which sounds easier to you? When I purchased this I wrongly assumed I could put this in a microwave for a few seconds. The only clue is the black plastic double hook in the photos; it is used to hang the gel pack in the boiling water. My opthalomogist also suggested that light pressure to help express the oils that cause blepharitis is helpful; this product doesn't do that. Don't try to microwave this with the mask cover in place because there is a foil lining on one surface. I bought a microwaveable rice blepharitis therapy product that takes 20 seconds to heat and the weight of the rice gently presses on the eye lids. Much easier to use and better.

Apenas lo recibí pero la verdad quede muy satisfecha. Me gusta que trae dos pares de antifaz de gel, por lo cual puedes usar uno en frio y el otro en caliente. Utilice uno de ellos como indica las instrucciones, calentado en agua y debo decir que fue una sensación muy cómoda en los ojos, lo deje por 10 minutos y al terminar realmente note el área de las ojeras menos hinchada. Lo único que si no me encanto, es el elástico del producto, siento que podría ser de mejor calidad, pues con el uso diario, siento que no durará mucho.
