Fantastic pot. Thick bottom and quality pot and lid
This part comes with a thick bottom, which is fantastic because it means that the heat is more even and things are less likely to stick. I’ve used it to cook a huge, huge pot of cabbage, used to cook, navy bean soup, which is thick and it didn’t stick And I’ve used it to steam crab legs. The heat distribution is fantastic. It’s an excellent value for the money, I even bought mine used from Amazon. It’s very easy to clean up and has an excellent thick lid. I can’t say enough good things about this pot.

Sturdy and economical
Large kitchen pans tend to come in two types: cheap and lightweight, or sturdy foodservice quality that's pricey. These pans hit a perfect balance: solid and well-made, yet won't break the bank. They're solid quality steel with a heavy bottom for even heat distribution. Furthermore, they can be used together for things like large quantity double-boiling. I bought the 14qt and 20qt, and am able to rest the smaller inside the larger to double-boil. These pans look to give years of service. I'm very pleased with them.

Nice and sturdy
I've enjoyed making chili and soup in this pot; it's large enough to prepare several servings and heat distributes evenly. I also like that the holes on the lid help prevent boil overs.

Nice except for sharp rim and rough stainless steel
Nice looking pan and seems very sturdy and well made. But the rim is sharp, so watch out. Also, upon first receiving I noticed some dirt spots inside the pan, so I took a spritz bottle with a mild water/whitevinegar solution and spritzed the pan and wiped it with a paper towel. The spts came out but it took a long time to keep wiping it, over and over again, as the rough surface of the stainelss steel is difficult to clean, and lint from the paper towel was now on the pans surface, ...This rough surface of the stainles steel is too difficult to clean even with small spot removal using a paper towel. Would rather have a smooth rounded edge that is not sharp all around the top of the pan and a smoother not so rough finsih for easier cleaning. Pan looks sturdy, well made and good for use otherwise.

Decent pot.
This is a great pot so far. I only used it once for liquid. The metal is done well enough to heat everything evenly. It has liter/ounce on the inside which is always important for serious cooks. I'll test it with something a little bit more sensitive to heat distribution and report back if there's a need to.

Great quality. Sturdy, weighty
It arrived a day early. A pleasant surprise ! This is a very well made item. Nothing cheap with this one. Shiny, stainless steel pot. I was honestly surprised at the quality. I plan to keep it in this condition, as it is very pretty, and looks expensive. It wouldn't be an embarrassment to have on the stove. It was definitely worth the price!!

It’s a BIG pot with a lid!
I do loads of batch cooking. Why make 6 servings of soup when you can make 12 is what I say! We have an extra freezer in the garage and my foodsaver has earned a permanent spot on my kitchen counter because I am always making bunches and bunches of something or other and then portioning and freezing. Maybe because it’s just me and my husband and it doesn’t make sense to put a lot of effort into a meal for two but I love gourmet meals so I make big portions when it makes sense. My newest thing is making our dog’s food… we were feeding our dogs the human grade food that you see commercials for but I realized I could probably take it a step further and provide an even healthier meal for my pups by making it at home! Don’t worry, I found the nutrient mix and ran this all by my vet and they approved before I embarked on this journey but now I’m making extremely large batches of dog food and I literally could not do it without this pot! My regular pot set maxed out at about 8 qts. I have a gas range and I have used this pot to brown meat and believe the heat distribution worked just fine- it’s a large base and sort of takes up the entire burner and then some but seemed to heat evenly. It is so deep that I need to get a ladder out to work with it while I’m sautéing meat or veggies in it. I picked this one over some of the other options because it came with a lid which I’d consider a nice bonus. I picked a used-like-new option for additional savings so over-all I’m very happy with the value of this purchase since I’ve used it several times in just a couple of weeks. Cleaning has been pretty simple with just a regular sponge with a slightly coarse side, warm water, and dawn.
