They're nice, and a great value
These are smooth, has a little more than a 1" travel, with each revolution .1" to make reading to .001" easy. Not really anything not to like about these. Don't think the tips are replaceable, but that wasn't anything I expected at this price range. The little reminder pointers are a nice touch. Really good price point for this. No idea if it will last as long as a name brand, but for hobby use my bet is that it'll be fine...but we'll see.

Great value for the money.
I work full time as CNC machinist. I'm no pro, but for the money, Fowler makes a good product. I know it's not made in the USA, but some of us are poor and can't afford $300 measuring tools. I use this dial several times a week and it's always stayed accurate.

Good Value
Good value for the money. Seems to be well constructed. The internal mechanism is similar to a Mitutoyo, aside from where plastic has been substituted for metal
