Q: Can I use tap water in this diffuser?

Though ASAKUKI suggest customer to use distilled water as a consideration of extending its lifetime, may it is a high cost. Thus tap water is also OK and you just need to keep cleaning the diffuser per week. This is to protect the tank from water sediment, which may affect diffuser’s normal use. As the normal maintenance, ASAKUKI suggest you to wash the tank by clean water added with diluted vinegar. During cleaning, please notice to shake the tank gently in order not to wet the bottom electric part. If the diffuser will not be used in a long time, please don’t forget to pour out the water and keep it dry.Thanks for asking:)

Q: Can you run this without the light?

You can certainly run it without the light although the button for the light will remain on.

Q: Can you choose a certain light color for the diffuser to stay on?

Yes. Just short press the “LIGHT” button (left) for one second, manually select your favorite color. Long press the light button 2 seconds, the lighting function is off.Thanks for asking:)

All of their diffusers are BPA free, made with the same materials as baby bottles. Designed in Japan, made in China.
