Easy to install
Fits perfect when you release the little screw brought to replace old one that had got tarnished just took the old one out and put new one in and done

Top is slightly too big - be sure to keep the old one!
Overall this is good quality and screwed into the existing plug hole. However, the top was slightly too big for my plug hole when I tried to push it down. I was replacing a broken one, so I simply screwed the top off the old one and screwed that one on to the new mechanism - problem solved. So if you're buying this as a replacement, make sure you keep the top off the old one, just in case. If you're not buying it as a replacement, be aware that you may have to return it.

This is a perfectly acceptable replacement for one that stopped popping up. After a few months this also stopped. Cleaned it in white vinegar and works again. It seems these are susceptible to scale build up so try cleaning before replacing the whole unit.

Not used as wrong size, as measuring needed to be very precise! But kept as the plug part was cheaper than ordering on it's own.

EXACTLY RIGHT+SMOOTH but POSITIVE CLICK-CLACK ACTION!
I seem to have been plagued with original fittings that jammed in the down position. Surprisingly difficult to get them to open, too! I had my doubts as to whether these would fit and work well. Rest assured, reader, that they do work and mine has a very positive push to lock/push to unlock action. Being cautious I ordered only the one. A second order was placed the day after for the remaining basins/bidets You may find it useful to regularly unscrew your units [they turn counter-clockwise] and treat the screw thread at the base and sliding shaft with a slug of a well-known PTFE spray. It is a bind in every sense when these devices jam in the 'down' position. Let's see how long they last . . . Hope helpful!
