Why did you choose this product over others?: I'd advise getting this on sale when it goes up, full price is pretty expensive. Saying that it's my new favourite power tool! I've used it a bunch for cutting, shaping and doing finer work for repairs and alterations. I like the pen tool, however it's a pain to get on and off and it doesn't sit easily in the case attached. I got so weary of trying to slot it together I've just made it fit for future uses. Otherwise a dizzying array of tools, more than half of which I've not used but happy to have the range to hand in one convenient travel box.

I am happy with the product quality, all accessories and parts are in the package. Feels good in hand with the speed change, vibration and noise level not much but noticeable. Locks well when changing to another tool. Great for the money and can do the job. Can I buy another one or recommend yes I can highly recommend this product. Thanks

Great piece of kit, I hammer it frequently, BUT let it cool when it gets hot. I had an original Dremel from the 90's and this is no where near as robust or reliable but if looked after does the job well. I have a Dremel 9100 for the big jobs but for daily use this is great. Comes with a host of kit and a great case if you need to be mobile.

Expensive, but better value when you add up the value of the accessories. Accessories are good quality. More power than cheaper versions I've owned. Finger crossed for reliability.

Awesome tool. Happy to have it, but was deliver without the collet, which is kind of critical - the tool is completely unusable without it. Cannot believe that Dremel would allow this to happen. And according to various other reviews I’ve read this seems to be a fairly common issue. Have to say though that Amazon were absolutely brilliant in resolving this issue for me. In this case I would truly give their Customer Support 5 stars.
