Recurve Bow Limb Silencers

These limb silencers work incredibly well on my recurve bow. After installing them, I immediately noticed a significant reduction in the noise when shooting. Silencers live up to their advertised description. They were easy to install and noticeably dampened string noise. The quieting effect was confirmed by a friend who was standing beside me when I shot. I recommend them and will buy them again.

These bow limb silencers are easy to install and blend in well on my black bow limbs. I took a video recording the sound before and after the installation. The effect both in the video and what I noticed myself is subtle but good. More than a reduced volume it takes some of the sharpness out of the sound of your bow. I like the improvement. If you keep your expectations realistic and perhaps combine these with string silencers you’ll be pleased. I like supporting a small company too!

Minor flaw, on one end of the top limb the string trys to walk off the groove line built into the limb, not much of a problem, after moving the string back a few times it now stays where it is suppose to be and dampens the vibration and noise as it should do. Well worth the small investment.

These are a bit more "fluffy" than they look, and feel like a faux fur rather than a short hair genuine fur leather strip? If that makes sense. Feels like the hairs could fray and pull over time, but absolutely worth the price and made the recurve wayyyy more silent. Job well done and get's it silent The glue is VERY strong, have had zero peeling

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Took out a ton of the string slapping noise. Have held up to about 1k shots so far. Highly recommend.

These are easy to apply and work well. I keep some of these and some alcohol pads in my bow case. Just wipe off the limb tip with alcohol and then apply the silencer. It's a bit of a pain to remove the backing, but I think that's more of a fat finger issue on my part and not a problem with the product. I've given some out to friends and they love them too.

Not as described! This is not animal fur, it’s cotton fleece and started to disintegrate right out of the bag. To much of a hassle to return (I’m sure the seller is counting on that).

Pads adhered to the limbs well. They made quite a difference on my lever action bow, and reduced the noise on my recurve crossbow. They've held up well to a lot of shooting.

These have definitely helped reduce the noise on my recurve. Was previously running two sets of string silencers, but this, in conjunction with a set of beaver silencers seems to do the trick ...not silent, but my best result yet. High quality. Have had them on for approximately 1000 shots and haven't noticed any deterioration.
