Bigger than I expected outside, but the inside is kinda small.
The outer shell is much larger than I thought, and the inside is smaller than I thought lol- if that makes sense. Basically when I purchased this, I expected it to be slightly smaller and I was pleasantly surprised by the scale of it. However the inside is a bit smaller than you'd expect when you see the outside. The bottom has indents (like a regular Lego piece) so that they can stack nicely, but that does take away some of the interior space. It is very sturdy though, and I even dropped it once without it cracking or breaking. Definitely good for kids. We used this as a gift box for my child's birthday, and after her party we are using it for storage of her Lego kits. It doesn't fit all of them, but it still fits a bunch. I'd definitely recommend this, but if you have a lot of Legos or big kits, maybe buy two.

Sturdier than expected
Study enough for my toddler grandsons to sit on. Holds a lots of Duplos or Legos, and they stack beautifully. More expensive than I would like, but worth it.

Great for storing girls' engineering toys! We can't wait to get her more to build a fort with!
I got this for my niece’s 6th birthday since all young engineers need a storage case to hold all of their sweet construction tools (like Zoobs and legos) when not in use. We also go her the Zoob Inventors' Kit (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007OUZBMQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1), but it didn't come with any wheels, for my niece's 6th birthday. Girls are really great at inventing awesome creations and love doing anything engineering related, so I knew my niece would love the giant lego toy box filled with the Zoob Inventors' Kit pieces, but surely she'd be like, "But, where are the wheels???" So to make sure the gift was complete, we got her the Zoob Mobile mini 4-wheeler kit (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002PDMI96/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1), too. Naturally, these were a hit. The LEGO storage brick 8 is a great size for easily storing under a bed and holds lots of Zoob pieces. She currently has 112 Zoob pieces in it and it could easily fit more than double that! Plus, it is stackable with the other LEGO storage bricks, so we can get more of these to build awesome forts with! If you are also looking for more presents that girls are in to, we got her for Christmas her first microscope (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00I0CDSFY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s05?ie=UTF8&psc=1) for up close viewing of all her fancy specimens (mainly bugs), along with prepared slides (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0009K4ED0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s05?ie=UTF8&psc=1), a lab coat and goggles (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IVQHC0Q/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s03?ie=UTF8&psc=1) since we take our safety seriously, and a science kit (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BURAP2/ref=od_aui_detailpages04?ie=UTF8&psc=1). She loves it! But, then again, girls love science! With all the awesome engineering and science toys out there, it is easy to find awesome gifts for girls that they love! BTW - her first invention was a robotic crab that was able to remove pesky splinters from fingers and, naturally, it got around on wheels.

Best LEGO Storage I have found yet!
I have searched for years for the solution to LEGO storage. With boys aged 6 and 8 who love LEGOs it has been difficult trying to figure out a way to store the Legos yet still have them accessible to the boys. The latest solution I had was one of those shelves that had plastic bins on the shelves and they could pick up the bins and put them on the floor and play with the Legos. That was an ok solution but as of late everything winds up in the bins because they are open bins so now it is Legos, dinosaurs, super hero action figures and minecraft parts so I once again began looking for a solution. I believe I have finally found it. Being skeptical I just bought one of the storage units. It is great. At first I thought it would hold all their Legos (before I saw it in person) once we started to move the Legos from the open bins into this storage brick I quickly realized I was crazy for thinking that they just have way too many Legos. I immediately went back on line and order 4 other storage bricks which will can be placed on top of each other and this will be a better organization system anyway because they will be able to separate certain Legos from others if they choose. I am happy to have finally figured out this solution. I do agree with the other reviewers that state the cut outs in the bottom make it easy for the smaller pieces to get stuck but as other reviewers have mentioned tape or avoiding putting those super tiny pieces in this bin will love that issue.

Good size and good quality
My daughter is on this Lego Friends kick and has a bunch of sets and nowhere to put them other than all around the house, then I came across this. What a life saver!!! I bought the Lego Storage 8 Brick and the size is perfect, it fit three completed sets with some odds and ends no problems. Semi broken down sets it fit over 6 bigger sets, and around 7 mini sets along with people and their little pieces. I did not think I would have been able to get as much as I did in just one brick but it is surprising how much space there is. There are a few small down sides, but nothing that would stop me from buying more or recommending this to other Lego people. Down side one, since they stack you end up with rings at the bottom which IF you have the very very small lego they might fit and get stuck. If you place something over them, you have nothing to worry about and the other issue is also because it can be stacked you lose out on some of the depth of the storage brick. It looks like you can fill the entire box, but when you lift the lid off you see that inside you do not have as much depth due to the stacking feature. Overall I am very happy and will buy more to stack and hold all this Lego my daughter has so I don't step on them and do the scream of death!

Nice duplo storage
We just received this for the boy's duplo collection and I'm pretty pleased. Since I had some questions that the reviews/description didn't cover, I thought I'd pass on info so others could benefit. 1. The pix look like the brick might have sorting trays bc the inner wall has ridges. It does not sort- it's just one big empty space in there like the lego head. 2. Sizewise, it's nice. I bought the educational duplo set (something like 150 pieces) and then a 100 piece set and they all allllmost fir- not quite. So the 8-brick can hold around 200 average duplo bricks. I'm buying another for the overflow. I wasn't sure how many duplos the brick would store and I couldn't find that info in the reviews. 3. Ppl have complained about it being hard to open and it might be for little-handed ppl to do so with one hand, but I didn't have a problem taking the top off one-handed. I suspect my son will have to use two hands to grab one of the nubs to open. Shouldn't be a problem. 4. It's real cute. You do lose some space due to its stackability. The other drawback is the lack of sorting, however it's solid. It won't fall open accidentally causing you to have to deal with a lego explosion. 5. It's pricey. But it's lego- it's going to be pricey. We build towers with baby blocks and megablocks now- the Lincoln logs are a little too much work for my 3-yo. I'm hoping duplos will fit this in-between building stage he's in right now.

So many things you can do with these.
I purchased these after I saw a video on TikTok. The girl built a coffee table out of these. I’m assuming a lot of other people had the same idea as me. They were mostly out of stock. I was able to get my hands on 3 of them, at very reasonable prices. Now they have since gone way up, excessively up. They have been sitting in my closet for 4 months now. In that time, I changed my living room into a theater room for my kids. So I decided to make my daughter a nightstand with these. Finally was able to get a hold of some more, at decent prices. These are huge Legos. You can use them to store things inside or build with them. They are thick, high quality, plastic. I really do like them. I’ll update my review when we get the other ones & put her nightstand together. I am going to purchase some more for my boys legos. This is a great way to store legos & decorate a room, if you have a Lego lover. 100% recommend.

LEGO Aufbewahrungsbox
