I made sure I ordered one that was a little too long so I could use the first 6 inches to practice cutting the corners and getting them right. Glad I did... Cutting the corners is not as easy as some of the videos make it look... Review: Seem to get pretty hard once it is mounted - I put this on my 1949 Philco model D893. It was pretty straightforward but I should have bought a gasket with a taller profile. It just does seal & I would have liked a little more compression. The one photo shows the profile of the old gasket compared to the replacement. Also once the gasket gets cold it gets hard. I would have preferred a more supple material. The gaskets on my newer models at my house are magnetic but stay supple when cold. At any rate, the door is now sealed as the old gasket was crumbling and was causing a lot of frost to build up. The photo with the door open was taken today (9-25-24) and the gasket was replaced in May 18th and there isn't a lot of frost.

Well made
Very well made. Unfortunately it did not work on the vintage refrigerator we were trying to use it on.

Bad seal
Was for old frigerator. Had a kink in one spot and was hard to get it sealed in that spot. I but some foam inside that spot to seal it . Works good know and good material.
