Love These Cookies
I became “addicted” to these cookies when I lived in Germany. They are almost impossible to find locally and the times I was able to find them, they were stale. I have ordered several of these from Amazon and they are great.

Best Christmas cookies!
These are delicious! It’s my husband stocking stuffer EVERY year and I usually order multiples because he loves them so much lol. Something he looks forward to every Christmas. Quality cookies!! And the price is nice!

Poor packaging
Ordered two packages of these wonderful cookies. Unfortunately, they were wrapped in a simple plastic bag for shipping. These are delicate, iced gingerbread cookies that have a hard shell delivered in a soft plastic bag - as such, arrived with probably 8 of 10 cookies broken. I had pictures to show but they have been deleted since my first review. Amazon rejected my first review saying it didn't meet "social standards" - guess I should have accepted my damaged goods in better cheer? Note: This isn't a manufacturing issue... it's a shipping issue only. The cookies are soooo tasty and remind me of Christmas as a child. I wrote a critical review as the delivery all but destroyed them - that simple people. Sorry I was upset they were severely damaged Amazon... picture the package delivered by Jim Carrey in Pet Detective :)

These really taste good, they just melt in your mouth!

Good cookies but not very much flavor
These had far less flavor than other pfeffernusse cookies I've gotten in previous years. They seemed to be very fresh so I don't think it's due to them being stale. They also arrived in good condition -- not smashed up like some other reviewers have experienced. Overall, they're good cookies, but I won't be buying them again because they were disappointing considering how good pfeffernusse can be. If you prefer more of a subtle flavor, you may enjoy these.
