Aedes is only 1/3 of our mosquito population. If it’s not effective against the other 2/3 of our species am I just giving the rest a breeding spot?

All I know is that the mosquitos were not around us all summer! We used 6 of them around our house and yard ( we have 1/2 acre) placed the way the directions said and …WOW! The only one that I had to move was one that was in the sun, as it’s supposed to be in the shade. My son paid an exterminator to get rid of his mosquitos and guess what? They placed these all around his yard!! It’s much cheaper to try these!

Has anyone emptied one of these things out to see how many mosquitos it killed?

There is misunderstanding on how this product works. First, the black color attracts mosquitos when mosquitos go inside they touch inside walls which has an embedded pesticide that gets transferred to their legs killing them but not necessarily inside, most of the time will died somewhere else. Seconds, mosquitos lay their eggs in the standing water inside that also has pesticide killing the larvae.

Says 3 months, also says 1000 rinses. How long can it be reused? Next year?

It really depends on how well you maintain it. I let mine dry out and tap it a few time to knock the dead bugs out. refill it and it still seems to work well I've done the 7 time now and still happy with the results

Why can't this be shipped to los angeles, ca?
