I don't have worry about how much time an athlete has left. It's crystal clear. I have purchased several and given then away to other officials. Highly recommend if you need a countdown timer. It also has an alarm that keeps when time is up.

**Q: Does it vibrate?**
A: Excellent quality and easy to use - haven't paid attention to vibration.  Delivery was on time, but Amazon no longer enforces delivery promises - guess they've gotten too big.

**Q: Two questions: is it water resistant? how big is the display?**
A: It did not work in the rain for me. Random beeping, display didn’t work. After drying thoroughly, it worked fine.

**Q: Does this stopwatch count up or down? It is called count down, but it sounds like it goes up. I need something to go from 12min to 0 sec.**
A: This device counts down only. It can count down from any time between 99m 59s to 0s.

**Q: Easy to turn on, simple to use… I like it…but, how do you turn it off ? !  Would like to save the battery life.  ;-)**
A: The device is designed to shut down after non use to conserve the battery.

I use this every day at work. I'm a dog trainer and it gets bumped and jumped on a lot. I haven't had any issues with durability. The screen is a good size and it saves the previous setting. The lanyard is very long so I just tied a knot. It has a kind of quick release that is nice. The buttons don't stick. It's a very nice, quality timer.
