The audio quality is clear, and everyone on the call can hear me perfectly without any issues. It’s also nice that there’s zero disturbance to the people sitting around me, which is important in an office setting. Comfortable enough for long calls and does exactly what I need it to do. Review: Very happy with this purchase! - I was looking for a wired headset to use at work/home with a noise-canceling mic. Searching desertcart led me to Logitech items but they were all USB connections. The Cyber Acoustics AC-5812 had both USB and the 3.5mm jack which gave me the flexibility of which connection to use. Obviously, USB is the preferred connection but using it on a laptop meant that USB ports are already limited given my ports are either used as a charging port for my phone and the other available port is used as my wireless mouse's nano receiver. Pros: * Low cost - retailed for $25 and got a $5 coupon * Lightweight * Control module is nice to operate sound controls plus it gives you an additional 2 feet if needed * Noise-cancelling microphone works well * Easy plug and play setup on both Windows 10 (work laptop) and Ubuntu (personal laptop) I would say there really aren't any cons. However, you need to expect that you're not going to get superior sound quality since the principal use-case for this headset is for communicating with others (in a noisy environment to minimize the background noise). You can certainly use to listen to music but don't expect this to be hitting all the ranges you would expect from headphones. ## Features - CLEAR AUDIO – Stereo headset with microphone for clear sound for both music and speech. Unidirectional noise cancelling Microphone minimizing unwanted noise while speaking or recording. Perfect for the K12 classroom or home. - MULTI-PURPOSE CONNECTION - Simple plug and play. Connect either with USB or 3.5mm audio jack. Connect the headset with the USB control module to your Mac or PC with no software installation or connect the headset 3.5mm audio jack directly to your Mac, PC or any electronic device with a 3.5mm audio jack connection. - CONVENIENT USB CONTROL MODULE – Improves sound quality in a compact design. USB connection for the headset to your PC or Mac. Easy access to Volume Up, Volume Down, Speaker Mute and Microphone Mute. ADJUSTABLE MICROPHONE BOOM - Designed to be worn with the microphone boom on the left- or right-hand side. - COMFORTABLE AND DURABLE DESIGN – Comfortable fit with adjustable headband and earpads to fit most head sizes. Earpads and headband design improved for comfort over the AC-5002 and AC-5008 headsets models with same great durability. Easy to clean leatherette ear pads. Headset and tangle free braided TuffCord cable designed for hard wearing and to be long lasting. - EASY TO USE - Simply plug in and play, no installation needed. Essential part of school supplies. The poly bag reduces single use plastics in packaging and is perfect for storing the headsets when not in use. **Q: Why can't I hear myself when I talk?** A: These headsets do not monitor the input into the headset audio output. Monitoring playback can typically be achieved in computer settings. **Q: Is this a good headset for work?** A: This headset is designed for the classroom setting in mind and is ideally suited for K-12 head sizes. **Q: How do I update my drivers?** A: These headsets use computer manufacturer provided drivers. To update your computer drivers you will need to contact the computer manufacturer for support. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Comfortable for Hours of Use *by C***K on March 17, 2026* I use this headset for a 6-hour conference call every Monday, and it’s been great. One of the standout features is the convenience of switching between PCs easily, which always works seamlessly. It’s comfortable to wear for long periods, and the sound quality is excellent for both calls and media. However, there is one significant downside. The ear pad started to disintegrate after about a year of heavy use. While I use it often, I wasn’t expecting this kind of wear so soon. The ear pad shavings get all over my earlobes, and I have to clean them off, which constantly annoys me. Despite that issue, the headset’s overall performance is still strong. It’s a reliable, comfortable piece of tech, but if you use it daily, just be aware that the ear pad might not hold up as long as you'd hoped. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.dk/products/371756696-cyber-acoustics-stereo-headset-20-pack-usb-or-3-5mm](https://www.desertcart.dk/products/371756696-cyber-acoustics-stereo-headset-20-pack-usb-or-3-5mm) --- *Product available on Desertcart Denmark* *Store origin: DK* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
