Review: These are great - truly red for night vision nightlights. - I am 66 years old, and don't have the greatest vision to begin with, but the claims of these 1 star reviews are rubbish. I searched high and low for a red night light that were really red. Most have a reddish filter over a white light, and they do spoil your night vision. Most of them do emit some of that white light. Sure, these aren't the brightest night lights, but they are - night lights! What do you expect? These are nice, nice lights, both me and my wife like them. They are a rare find. Sure if you come in from the sun and go into a pitch dark room with these on, you won't see anything, but even with my low vision, I can see everything in the pitch dark room with just night light on. No, I am not going to read in there, but I can see enough to conduct the business at hand, and then leave with my night vision unchanged in the least. The key is, let your eyes adjust to the night lights output, usually after bed. So, if you want a true night light that won't wreck you night vision, order these, and pay no attention to the one star reviews. And by the way, they are plastic, but do no feel that cheap either. Now when I bought these, I almost past them over because of the reviews. But they are fine.

**Q: motion detection?**
A: No, there is no motion detection.  When the light level comes up, the light goes out.  We even put one just under the edge of the bed so my husband could get up during the night without having to turn on lights.  They are wonderful.

**Q: Do you have a  220V/240V version?**
A: Hi, No at this time we do not. If we extend into EU market next year we will create a  200/240V version.

**Q: What is the nm of this LED?**
A: The peak in 632nm and the lower cut off is 600nm

**Q: Why does the company sell night lights in orange then not red?**
A: Orange LEDs have no blue but they do have green. While green is not nearly as disruptive as blue is still has a repressive effect on melatonin. It is small but significant if you have a one in a bedroom. The green component of orange light also interferes with night vision. 
The safest thing to do is to do red after bed!
