Excellent and works great. Bit fiddly too set up but got there in the end. Very happy with it.

Perfect turns my MB audio 20 in an C class 204 into a CarPlay HU. Replaces the Becker map pilot I had & slots straight into the same port. Easy to set up & once paired via Bluetooth works seamlessly no drop outs.. now have always up to date navigation with live traffic via iPhone, Becker would cost me £50 to update the map. One thing to note instructions do not explain how to get from radio to CarPlay. Push the disc button till aux shown then the nav button & hey presto CarPlay

Finally installed after ten attempts and worked fine for two days…. I then made the mistake of using the radio in my car and the box hasn’t connected since. I have just sat in my car for six hours trying to get it to connect and stay connected. I have tried different combinations, watched countless troubleshooting videos and used 3 different phones to no avail, the closest I got was via airplay but the sound only came through my phone speaker for ten seconds before failing. I would avoid this like the plague unless you are a fan of being frustrated by a lump of plastic!

This is a Big Improvement to my Becker Navigation that was installed in my Mercedes Benz, but I'm struggling with how the system performs when trying to use the handsfree, it constantly gives an echo and the person on the other end of the call cannot hear you properly. I have turned off the Bluetooth connection between the Wireless Carplay and the Mercedes Bluetooth, so the only piece I am using is the Google Maps piece. I also have a connection between my phone and the Wireless Carplay device, but I think this still causes issues for me when using the phone as I am still using the existing Mercedes Bluetooth. I have reached out to CARABC and they don't have an update, although this issue has been reported previously +6months ago. their response was, Send it back. I thought at this stage they would have released a fix for it!

This worked perfectly. No hassle easy installation giving me CarPlay in my Merc. This took minutes to install and almost required no setup. Sound quality was really good too. Highly recommend this

Easy swap in for the Becker map pilot module and works very well. If you have no audio, you need to pair your car bluetooth with the unit 'CARABC" NOT with your phone. For reliability best use the usb with a lightning cable plugged into phone. Works every time, whereas wireless CarPlay can be temperamental - slow to connect or connection failed now and again. All Merc controls work including phone buttons and Siri works using voice command button. An easy way to add CarPlay to NTG 4.5 systems. Rear camera works as normal. My advice would be to not setup wireless CarPlay at all, just use lightning cable into the USB. I've hidden mos of the cable as shown in photo. Useful if more than one driver uses car as they just plug their own phone in and it'll work immediately. In some cars (mine is a GLA) because the unit is longer than the original Harmon module it means the glovebox needs slammed to close and sits slightly squint due to this. Not overly noticeable but a slight annoyance. All in all, decent value and works well, as long as you use a lightning cable.

After being unable to update a 2014 Becker map pilot I bought this device. Slots into the Becker socket in the glove box of my car easily. Took a few minutes how to make it work with an iPhone and it turns out to be amazing connected with Bluetooth. Apple Maps works well, music library on my iPhone is fully accessible and integrates well with controls on car. Don’t bother updating your Becker maps, get one of these. Update: 8 October 2024 Been living with the device installed in my car for a while now. I’m still absolutely delighted with it and I have to say, it exceeds my expectations - it’s absolutely GREAT! Update 9 November 2024 I have seen a few reviews that report that sometimes (such as after using the radio) the music streaming fails to work. This happened to me. Fortunately I found a video on YouTube that explained how to fix this. Just go to audio on you Mercedes display and select Bluetooth (BT) Audio. Reconnect the CARabc system again and the audio streaming from your phone/device works just fine again. 👍👍 Update August 2025 Still delighted with this device 👍👍

Prodotto veramente unico nel suo genere. In modo semplice e veloce riesce ad apportare un grande miglioramento alla macchina. Funziona veramente bene ed è semplice da usare. Unica pecca sta nella macchina modello w176. In quanto bisogna smontare e spostare il supporto del navigatore becker, altrimenti non si chiuderebbe il portaoggetti

Bonjour, je peux vous dire que cette appareil est une tuerie, je l'ai monté dans une mercedes classe e coupé de 2013, fonctionne avec Android auto, rien à dire surtout avec le bouton sur le volant vous n'avez plus qu'à demandé une adresse un numéro de téléphone et même avec spotify vous dites la musique que vous voulez et directement il comprend, cela change la vie en voiture la grande classe.

Excellent product overall, made my life easier. Wish it didn’t automatically connect to my phone when I’m out of my car and the car is not in use. When i’m close to the car, even with the car being turned off, it still connects to carplay which can be annoying.

Werkt top in mijn CLA 2013, plug and play! Dashboard kastje gaat gewoon dicht en hij verbind automatisch. Moest wel langs de dealer want ik had helaas geen “sleutel” meer om de Becker module te verwijderen. Let wel op dat je met verbinden via bluetooth op verbinden via bluetooth apparaat klikt (tweede optie) anders verbind hij niet.
